Plant en Houtgoed Projects

Each project, whatever its size or kind, provides the opportunity to increase biodiversity and foster contact with plants, animals and other humans.

 

Each of our interventions and designs is oriented towards the constitution of a specific ecosystem: indoor, mobile, (micro)aquatic, (micro)forest, wastine, productive,… This means we put forward a nature-driven design by selecting and assembling species according to their resilience, climatic behaviour and potential to interact with other vegetal and animal species.

This scientific approach combines with an aesthetic one: through study trips and through our own projects we have developed a sensitivity towards the alternating cycles of seasonal growth, blossoming and decay, producing a sense of delicate wilderness. Beauty is a strong driver to foster happiness and civic response towards nature preservation: the approach aims thus to combine beauty with a functioning ecosystem responding to environmental needs of local (urban) conditions.
